Our Year 9 and 10 Photography students began the year in the dark room. But just as we were getting going with 35mm film development, COVID-19 sent them home. With a neat sidestep into the digital realm, the students got their hands on phones, tablets and cameras at home and got busy taking pictures. With time and a variety of locations at their fingertips, they achieved some impressive results, which they presented via our online classroom, showing a high level of engagement and creativity. The collage above features four different tasks, in which we explored soft light, hard light, compositional elements and water and reflections.
