Two performance stages:
The 'Market Stage' will again be located in the main site and will boast live performances throughout the day, the drawing of the Monster Raffle and the announcement of Busking Comp winners. This stage will be expertly MC'd by awesome Year 11 students Loz and Jason.
We are currently seeking expressions of interest from musos in our school community and beyond who would like to play a short set (between one and five songs) on the Market Stage. Please email your details to
firstname.lastname@example.org if you
would like to share your musical talent with the Spring Fair crowd.
The 'Hall Stage' will again be in the School Hall and will hold the Primary School performances, followed by the return of our highly successful Busking Competition.
Skateboard Workshops and Vintage Clothing Stall: overseen by our intrepid High School students, these activities will cater for Spring Fair's teenage contingent and we look
forward to seeing some talented board riders strutting their stuff.
* These activities will take place on the all-weather basketball court near the high school.
Ten MASSIVE hampers to be drawn at the Fair! Last year this equated to in excess of $12k in total value!
Shearwater's Spring Fair is a parent-run initiative which - apart from being
a wonderful showcase for the School and a terrific community event - is crucial in providing much needed funding that falls outside the School's budgetary parameters.
Every's contribution is appreciated!!
