Shearwater is a member of Australian Organic Schools, which educates children about where their food comes from and the benefits of organic food and practices for our health and the environment.
Nadia has been using the resources of this organisation in lesson planning for Primary class gardening lessons. And taking it to the next level, naturally!!
It was a busy day, but a great opportunity to promote biodynamic gardening/farming as it is worked into the curriculum at Shearwater:-) Students from the Primary School cooked a meal with ingredients harvested from our gardens, Harry opened the beehives, and we fired up the wood-burning pizza oven.
We hope Costa enjoyed the day, as much as we enjoyed his visit. We would like to thank Sandra Kimler for arranging Costa's visit.
